the exams are finally over.. ok so maybe they were over since thurs.. and been bz bz bz since!

Thursday
the last paper ended and i had the urge to just simply jump out of my seat and shout wooHOO!! really.. 4days of exam is nuts in JC term.. espcially when u have 2 H2 subjects on the same day! so i went out with the ODAC people to watch transformers. i was really concerned when we actually decided with it as the majority being guys.. and guys will be guys.. voted to watch it over Surf's up, to the disappointment of the girls.. especially jas.. she wanted to watch surf's up so much.. haha.. o well..
Transformers was way better than i had originally expected it to be!! i mean.. getting to see the nighthawk, F22 Raptor, Spectre Gunship and the thunderbolts.. o man.. its just so cool!! Bumblebee [Sam's gurdian Autobot] is definitely the best robot in terms of the whole show in general. how it helped Sam get his girl, how it defeated the deceptacons, etc.. it was just the best.. everyone was really sad when it got caught by the military initially thinking that it was against them too.. the whole movie was just so cool! ok so u get my point.. go watch it!
ying fang was suppose to meet us after the movie but later found out she went to orchard instead of suntec to find us.. gosh.. wonder who told her that we were in orchard! so we all spent the time walking around the toy fair outside carefour, looking at all the toys and how tk amused himself with the remote controlled cars.. lol.. the cars drove between me and jas's legs! gosh.. wonder what tk and the other boy who was playing were thinking.. jas i think wanted to take revenge and took control of the car as soon as tk put it down and it somehow drove towards the boy and hit him.. she later denied it wasnt intentional.. hmm.. i wonder..
ying fang finally found us and we went shopping till around 6..

there's barely 5days left till the start of the dreaded mid-yrs.. which will once again be the platform where my parents will use against me to not go church. i am obviously against the ways they want me to free up my weekends from commitments which they had hoped since my NCC days.. initially there came a light, it being the 5day week.. but i still came back for remedials, NCC, and what nots.. to their dismay of cause. and soon.. church came into play.. now completely "robbing" as they say.. of my saturdays.. sigh.. ok.. not the point..
so back to the topic.. i had been busy.. so busy that there was no time for me to study at all till this very last week! filled with so many activities.. including odac, nus attachment and my church annual conference. i wasted no time in utilizing the time i had left and headed down to NLB with liying and yingfang on monday..
it was kinda of a nostalgic feeling.. cuz here i am sitting down at the spot again.. as i was a year back when i started to choing for my Os.. the queue was still there as always.. and fancy meeting fellow MJians there too.. haha.. alex and his gang.. liying and yf actually managed to get some work done.. and they were so amazed at themselves.. haha.. even saying they should do this more often.. LOL.. wonder where they studies during their secondary school days.. =)
Lunch with those 2 is simply.. well.. never once boring.. we talked all the way through the 2hour break we took.. totally exceeding the time limit i had for us.. o well.. i mean.. can't really help it when u are having fun in a supermarket.. lol.. i wonder if it will be the same for tml as i go down to study at NLB once more..
tuesday was really just me and my church friends studyin at expo coffee bean.. haha.. again like old times.. i guess O levels does help u find out where is it that u can study in SG.. haha..
but the highlight would definitely be the UAC [Unit Appreciation Ceremony] held by my NCC unit.. in celebration of 5years of distinction.. aka 5 years gold and attaining the Sustained Achievement Award.. AND.. making our stand in dmn that NCC air is the best UG among them all there.. i totally had fun there.. especially crapping with the guys there and playing "family feud" on the laptop which is just so hilarious.. haha.. first time i played i actually made it to the top 5 of the leaderboard i think.. haha.. so cool.. i totally miss the guys.. all the fun times we had.. and they making fun of my physical features.. =.= ok that aside.. the campfire itself was special.. firstly.. the fire was made entirely by us.. unlike other years where we borrow wood from scouts and yea.. we made it so nicely.. and it burnt up way too quickly too.. too much ventilation i guess.. tk and me.. being the enthu ODACians we are.. taught our junior the game.. where's the peanut.. haha.. total crap i tell u.. we got it flushed down the toilet.. burnt in the fire.. us acting cute.. being handsome.. and ___ u get the idea.. =)

Spider Research? hmmm...
i could hardly contain myself when i learned that i had been selected for this program. i mean.. firstly its an attachment to NUS.. which is already WOW.. then its actually a research! meaning we're actually gonna help them do it.. or at least that was the first impression i had of it.. reason being that limited info about the whole thing was given to us. it was not until we met the researcher herself, eunice, that i found out what kind of crap i got myself into. i thought we were gonna research about something more, erm, say exciting. looking at larger spiders? cuz the one we're researching are way small.. probably the size of one letter here.. yup.. i mean it.
nevertheless, i signed up for this. i was selected for it. i can't possibly back out now right? i mean.. no matter how little interest i had in it. backing out is definitely not an option here. and so.. i went.. and 4 days of attachment followed.. with rather hilarious findings.. nope not based on the research itself of cuz.. i found other ways to entertain my bored self..

i never thought it could happen to me.. i thought i was all high and mighty and that my body could withstood any sort of punishment i laid down on it.. i was wrong.. i think..
it all began with a sore throat on tues night.. really insignificant ain't it.. then as i walked to sch the following morning.. i could feel heat really just gushing out of my neck region.. i never experienced it before.. so i thought little about it and set my mind onto the outing i was about to have with kevan and rebecca.. one to look out for really.. i mean.. 3 of us good friends just out to have fun.. what could go wrong right? and i mean.. mind over body correct? or at least that's what they say..
we went down to marina square after we met up in school and learning all the fun cheers kevan learnt in LTC.. haha.. man it sounded so fun.. and the cheers juz way cool.. lol..
we decided to catch a movie.. namely Shrek 3.. i mean.. who would have known GV marina only had 4 movies that day? 2 of which we watched before already and another way too late for us.. lol.. yea.. its kinda of a no choice situation.. haha.. went down to yoshinoya to makan lunch aft gettin e tix.. there was this new dish there.. i duno what its name was but it tasted like fish i think.. and it cost me $6? with no drinks to add on.. zzz.. best part was becca dumped me all of her veggies.. my gosh.. you should eat em u know.. its like good for ur health becca!
even then the thumping in my head was there.. i tried my best to contain it and not to show it to the 2.. lest they worry for me and forgot abt the main point of having fun.. i didn know what to do really.. my cough was getting worse too.. my nose thankfully not blocked.. well not yet at least..
went up to the creative store next and we saw this cool new mp3 player.. not sure what it was called.. but its so small and it came in all sorts of colours! becca naturally loved the pink and i the orange.. haha.. kevan seemed to have doubts over the shade of green it had.. LOL.. we played with it and adjusted the speaker next to it as we spent the time singing to our fav tunes.. ok maybe not so fav.. simply just any nice songs which came out.. =).. Pool was next in queue.. haha.. can u believe it costs $10 per hour there? its a total reap off man.. but who cares.. its a calling LOL.. kevan claimed that he improved since i last played with him when we were in tpjc.. guess not.. haha.. i won him 4-2.. 1 of which cuz i hit the black ball into the wrong hole.. haha.. but one to me also cuz kevan hit the black ball into the hole before completing the rest of the balls.. not on purpose obviously.. becca refused to play no matter how we persuaded her to.. she kept saying she preferred watching people play and complaining she was really sleepy due to choir.. haha.. ask u sleep on the train dun wan lah.. silly girl..
the headache became worse as we enter the cinema.. the movie was alright i guess.. the plot so so.. storyline nothing original.. its jokes ultimately saved the whole movie.. my eyes struggled to keep open as i battled the pain in my head.. my mind was set on the thought of eating sakae sushi for dinner with em as we originally planned.. and of cuz paying attention to every detail in the movie so we could chat about it shortly after.. the pain proved too much to bear..
i felt so apologetic to them as i told em about my situation.. they walked me home.. of which i am so grateful for.. nothing i say here can really express how thankful i am to the 2 of u..

i'm feelin much better now.. thanks.. though i had fever again this morn after having one ytd which subsided in the afternoon.. sigh..my mother scolded me for straining my body.. saying that my body broke down on her own non-medical based judgment.. maybe i should try not to strain my body too much.. but what exactly have i done the past days leading to the incident? a visit to NSC on monday.. ODAC re-test, basketball, table tennis sing song and bobo house on tuesday.. and walking to the MRT to go mjc on wed morning? i don't think my body broke down really.. i've had worse schedule while in TPJC when in Dragonboat.. so this is really nothing.. come on. i'm tougher than this!
maybe its just an excuse for her to clam down on me and make me not go out more often.. zzz.. nice try..

Mount Belumut.. or in english.. mount "moss".. after the trip.. i think it should be named Mount Leeches instead.. its filled with it..
so anyway.. MJ ODAC met early in the morn.. like 6.30am? and we were on our way shortly after.. ok.. maybe not so soon.. me and eugene still had time to play basketball in the dark for a while.. lol..
and so.. like every other overseas trip to malaysia.. the people on the bus tend to get a little.. erm.. bored in a sense.. or rather to put it in a polite way.. =).. mockery of each other's passport photos.. sleeping in the most candid of ways.. the almighty time-killer game of bridge.. and the most dramatic.. indian poker!! the forfeit was truth or dare.. and no.. there ain't no juicy details for u viewers.. what goes on in ODAC.. stays in it.. that was the rule.. =)..
